| Storage conditions | 1. Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Store separately from oxidizers and acids; do not mix with other substances. Equip with appropriate types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment. The storage area should be equipped with spill response equipment and suitable containment materials. Due to its high hygroscopicity, it should be stored in a sealed container; long-term storage requires nitrogen sealing. Iron, mild steel, copper, or aluminum containers can be used for storage. However, for long-term storage, coated steel, aluminum, or stainless steel containers are recommended. 2. Ethylene glycol containers should be marked "Toxic" to prevent accidental ingestion and inhalation of ethylene glycol vapors. Operators should wear protective equipment and undergo regular medical examinations, especially urinalysis. Pack in galvanized iron drums, 100kg or 200kg per drum. Store in a sealed container; for long-term storage, nitrogen sealing, moisture protection, fire protection, and freeze protection are necessary. Store and transport according to regulations for flammable chemicals. |
